“ THE TREASURE OF SRI LANKA ”.

Origin and production

This high-quality Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "true cinnamon," comes directly from the spice gardens of Sri Lanka. The finest inner bark of the cinnamon tree is peeled, dried, and rolled into the characteristic sticks. Ceylon cinnamon from Sri Lanka is distinguished by its particularly delicate, mild aroma and its exquisite quality – a true king among spices.

Taste and aroma

Delicate, warm, sweet, with a subtle woody note.

Application

Perfect for sweet and savory dishes: Refine desserts, baked goods, curries, or add a subtle spice to drinks like tea, coffee, and mulled wine. Also ideal with almonds, apples, poultry, or rice.

Interesting facts

Wofür verwendet man gemahlenen Ceylon-Zimt?
