Origin and Production

“FOR HOMEMADE SHISH KEBAB AND DONER AT HOME WITH BAHARAT.”

This blend was created for shish kebab, grilled meat, minced meat skewers, oriental stir-fries, and homemade doner. Paprika, garlic, basil, oregano, onion, and sumac form the base, complemented by an authentic homemade Baharat with classic spices from Arabian and Levantine cuisine.

Taste and Aroma

The Shish Kebab spice tastes full, rounded, and slightly spicy. Sweet paprika provides a mild base, garlic and onion add depth, while sumac complements it with a slightly sour note. The homemade Baharat brings warmth, depth, and an oriental character through coriander, pepper, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and pul biber.

Application

Ideal for shish kebab, lamb, beef, chicken, minced meat skewers, kofta, grilled vegetables, oriental marinades, and homemade doner. The spice can be applied directly to the meat or mixed with oil, yogurt, lemon juice, and a little salt to form a marinade. For the best taste, it is recommended to combine the mixture with a little flake salt. It pairs particularly well with grilled meat, flatbread, rice, salads, and dips.

Interesting Facts
